HOW TO PLAY

Left Click to select the firefighter, Right Click to tackle the fire or fetch water from the river. The firefighters need to gather water from the river to be able to douse the flames.

The Great Fire of Turku in 1827 sadly destroyed 75% of the city, despite the valiant attempts of the volunteer fire brigade.

Using an original map from the National Archives, the player has a chance to change history.

Manage your firefighters, maintain their water supply, and tackle the fires to prevent the spread! The more buildings remaining at the end, the higher the player score.

In The Great Fire of Turku, the player has 4 minutes to keep as many buildings standing by putting out the fires. The player can increase their score by putting out fires and protecting buildings.

Firefighters can only carry so much water, so the player will need to manage the team effectively and continuously collect more water from the river. As the fires burn, they have a chance of spreading to other buildings and will reduce the building's health over time.
